never heard of a Bristol Hotel in Malaysia Laughing

I was in Bristol, UK in July recently. Love that place, quiet place, street art is everywhere.

No, I didn't, but I drank a lot of Ribena during my childhood days.

Even now, I drink it occasionally. Grin

A night scene of Merdeka Roundabout with Shell House in the background.

The UMBC Building beside Shell House had not been constructed yet.

I have not seen those lighted pillars with arrow signs beside the lamp-post in KL anymore.

Yup, those are British residents who rule KL and Selangor during colonial times.

Roads in KL are named after them.

Presently, only a few roads are still bearing the original names.

    Wrong.

Besides Jalan Peel, Jalan Cochrane and Jalan Stonor,

    Jalan Jarret

    and Jalan Shelley

    still exist now.

They are less than 1 km apart, so yes, they can be considered in the same area.

But the San Peng flats are low-rise while Loke Yew flats are high-rise.

    Ah...I see...
Last time I knew a group of friends from San Peng flats..
    Night time...yumcha at nearby stalls...

I so missed those days, carefree and safe.

Even though low cost flats area, the ppl were nice....
It was safe to roam everywhere in town even during midnight..
No snatch thefts, no carjacking, no raping cases, so peaceful.

Didn't even have police block, if drank too much. CSC
