Klang Bus Station was really a very unhygienic place.

This bus to Ulu Langat was ambushed and shot at by the Communists. Civilians live in fear during that time.

A 1970 road tax disc of the same car. Notice everything is printed, not handwritten. Smile

The bus driver has his right foot out in the opening to cool down. No air-con. Lel

A rather quiet and deserted Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman just days after the race riots of May 13, 1969.

Photo taken by Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah, the Yang DiPertuan Agung 1965-1970.

Wait....I think I know why Jalan TAR is deserted.

It must be due to the 24-hour curfew imposed by the NOC (National Operations Council) headed by Tun Razak just after the May 13 incident.

I think the Agong is exempted, deswai he has all the time in the world to take photos of empty streets. Grin

The National Operations Council governed the country from 1969 to 1971.

It was headed by Tun Razak (seated in the middle of the photo).

Here is a breath-taking photo of a Sri Jaya bus.

Does anyone knows where this place is?

I think it is near the Jalan Pudu/Jalan Bukit Bintang traffic junction, with the arrow sign pointing in the direction of Jalan Bukit Bintang.
